Thomas Peter Koppel

Thomas Peter Koppel has been touring Denmark and the rest of Scandinavia for over two decades now - foremost in programmes consisting of opera and operetta and more recently of italian da camera songs in connection with his latest CD-releases, Piacer d´amor  and Passione (both Gateway Music). The 100th anniversary of his great grandfather in 2008 inspired Thomas to take up the output from this popular writer of art songs - and soon they were also in demand on the domestic concert platform. Thomas is born into the musical dynasty of the Koppel family - his mother being the famous dramatic soprano, Lone Koppel, his above-mentioned grandfather the internationally praised composer and pianist, Professor Herman D.
