He is the conductor of the opera of the National Theater in Prague and the principal guest conductor of the Košice State Philharmonic. He studied oboe and conducting at Prague's HAMU. He was a very active player in various chamber ensembles, as a soloist he recorded for Czech Radio. For several years, he worked in various Prague orchestras, and this activity culminated in a ten-year engagement as solo oboist in the Prague Chamber Philharmonic. As a conductor, he initially collaborated mostly with the Prague Chamber Philharmonic and gradually became a regular guest of a number of Czech symphony ensembles. In 2004, he made his debut with the Symphony Orchestra of Prague FOK, then in 2010 with the Czech Philharmonic, where he previously worked as assistant to the chief conductor V. Ashkenazy
