Biography
Christian Brey, born in 1973 in Geldern on the Lower Rhine, studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, was a member of the acting ensemble at the Staatstheater Stuttgart from 1997 to 2011 and has been working as a freelance director ever since. His first directing work was in 2007, together with Harald Schmidt, "Elvis lebt. And Schmidt can prove it" at Schauspiel Stuttgart. Numerous other productions followed in Stuttgart. In addition, Christian Brey also worked with Harald Schmidt on his late-night show and they staged Franz Lehár's "The Merry Widow" together at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
