Biography
The Swedish soprano Åsa Thyllman took her Master Degree at the University College of Opera in Stockholm 2013. Immediately after that she was invited to the Swedish Royal Opera and made her debut in Wagner’s Die Walküre as Gerhilde. She was also invited to Berwaldhallen and the Radio Symphony Orchestra to sing the role Helmwige in a concert version of Die Walküre, together with Nina Stemme and Bryn Terfel among others singers. Recently Mrs Thyllman has made great success debuting as Turandot at Folkoperan in Stockholm. Other interesting roles and performances recently have been Flora in La Traviata at Folkoperan in Stockholm 2015 and at GöteborgsOperan 2017. She also sang Aufseherin and Schleppträgerin in Elektra at GöteborgsOperan 2017 and the role Mats’ Grandmother in Ture Rangströms
