Biography
Born in Leipzig Barbara Senator is actually developing to one of the more interesting lyric-dramatic Soprano voices especially for the Romantic repertory. So she already had great success with the roles of the Goose Girl in E.Humperdincks KÖNIGSKINDERN or as Fox in L. Janaceks THE CUNNING LITTLE VIXEN at Semperoper Dresden. Her recent engagements she had at Theatre Bonn and Dortmund where she was highly acclaimed by press and audience for her debuts as ARABELLA, Yvette in LEONORE 40/45 (R. Liebermann) and Rachel in LA JUIVE. Lauded for her beautiful tone, a high musicality and lovely legato culture she currently continues her studies with KS Irmgard Boas and is working as free-lanced artist now.
