Biography
The Italian-Brazilian tenor Giovanni Tristacci has been pointed out by the specialized critique as one the new great talents of the Brazilian operatic scene, with great success in the lyric tenor repertoire. In 2016 he was "Roméo" in Roméo et Juliette (Gounod), in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, achieving great success of public and critique. He also sang "Ernesto", in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), in Porto Alegre. In past productions, he achieved great success in the production of Rigoletto (Verdi), when he sang the "Duke", in Belo Horizonte (2014), and two years earlier, in the same city, "Camille de Rossilion", in Léhar’s “Die lustige Witwe”. In 2012/2013 he sang "Tamino" at Manaus Opera Festival in a new Robert Driver production of Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), and a few months later he was "Narrabot
