Georgian/Austrian soprano Madina Karbeli finished her studies in Vienna (University of Music and Performing Arts) in 2012. She made her Austrian debut in Opernair Gars am Kamp as Gilda. Follwed by concert season as a soloist of Young Philharmonie Vienna. In 2013 she made her debut in Italy - as Antonia in Les Contes D’Hoffmann in Teatro Verdi, Pisa, followed by performances in Teatro del Giglio (Lucca), Teatro Goldoni (Livorno), Teatro Coccia (Novara). In 2015, after becoming the winner of Marcella Pobbe International Competition, she entered the cast of Nabocco at the opening night of Arena di Verona, where she made her way from complementary roles to the protagonist of Salome.
