I am a Danish Jugendlicher Heldentenor born and raised in Copenhagen. The interest for singing and opera came to me, as I was introduced to “La Boheme” in high school by a close friend. A whole new and exciting world opened itself to me, and I have been hooked ever since. My official education as a singer was at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, where I graduated in 2001; but I find as an operasinger you never really finish educating your voice. Many great teachers have had an influence on my technique and understanding of singing, but one of the greatest inspirations and groundbreaking encounters with a mentor, has been meeting Professor Douglas Yates back in 2001, just after finishing my degree. He helped me find my own voice and our work together layed the ground for who I am as a sing
