Marek Reichert comes from Berlin. After graduating from high school, he studied singing at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden and at the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig, where he not only received his artistic diploma but also the concert exam. While still a student, the young baritone was engaged at the Landestheater Coburg, where he was a member of the ensemble from 2006 to 2010. Here he developed a broad repertoire. Marek has been working freelance since 2010. He has made guest appearances at the Bayreuth Festival, the Leipzig Opera, the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden, the State Theater in Braunschweig, the State Theater in Nuremberg, the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken and the Heidenheim Opera Festival.
