Biography
Dublin born Michelle performed and created the role of Blonde Frau in the world premiere of Yasutaki Inamori’s Wir Aus Glas at the Münchener Biennale and Tischlerei for Deutsche Oper Berlin in June 2018. Other work for Deutsche Oper Berlin includes a concert performance of Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Hansel Hansel and Gretel (Humperdinck), Hotel Guest/Bettlerin in the Graham Vick production of Death in Venice (Britten). In 2017 she returned to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to reprise the role of Ninetta in Les Vepres Siciliennes (Verdi) conducted by Maurizio Benini and directed by Stefan Herheim. As a guest artist at the ROH Michelle has also covered the roles of Pisana in I due Foscari (Verdi), Third Nymph in Rusalka (Dvorak), Third Innocent in Birtwistle’s The Minotaur and
