Biography
Paula Iancic studied singing and piano at the Artistic College “Sabin Dragoi” in Arad (2000 - 2013) and singing at the National Academy of Music “Gheorghe Dima” in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where she obtained a master’s degree. She had her first stage experiences in various opera houses in Romania with roles such as Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Micaëla (Carmen), Musetta and Mimì (La Bohème). As a member of the Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich between 2016 and 2018, Paula Iancic sang roles such as Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Giannetta (L'Elisir d'amore), Zaida (Il turco in Italia), Maria (Der Diktator) and Flowermaiden (Parsifal). She made her debut as Oscar (Un Ballo in maschera) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Febru
