Biography
Born in China, Qui Lin Zhang lives in Paris where she has been formed at the Schola Cantorum then at the Conservatoire de Toulouse. She won in 1995 the Grand Prix du Concours International de Marmande as well as the Masters of French Chant in Paris the same year. Qiu Lin Zhang sang Maddalena in Rigoletto in Rennes, Sesto in La Clemenza di Tito and Susuki in Madama Butterfly in Saint-Etienne and Marseille, Carmen at the Festival in Hong Kong with the Orchestra National de Lille, Ute in Happy Nibelungen by Oscar Straus in Caen. At the Theatre du Capitole de Toulouse Mère Jeanne in Dialogues des Carmelites, Néris in Medea by Cherubini, Third Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Erda and First Norn in Der Ring des Nibelungen, the Voice of the Mother in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Eine Stimme von Oben in Die F
