Biography
The german coloratura soprano Sophia Theodorides studied singing with Sophia Bart and KS. Jeanne Piland at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. She attended master classes with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Marga Schiml and Edita Gruberova. Working with the pianist Franz Leander Klee and acting lessons with Peter Nikolaus Kante complemented her education. In 2012 and 2016 she received a Germany scholarship for talented students; she is also a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association. Sophia Theodorides gained her first stage experience as part of her studies in various opera projects and has appeared in the title role of Rita, Greta Fiorentino in Street Scene, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Morgana in Alcina.
