Biography
Zurab Zurabishvili was born on September 1, 1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia. 1988-1994 voice study at Tbilisi Conservatory with Prof. Ana Chikhradze. 1994 voice study at Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Martha Sharp. June 2002, diploma with excellence and Master Of Arts. Private study with Hanna Ludwig, professor emeritus at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. Master classes with Bernd Weikl and Sherrill Milnes in Salzburg, Laurenne Nubar in Nizza, Paata Burchuladze in Salzburg and private study with Riccardo Lombardi. 2003 Winner of the Austrian Prize Honor. 2005 Two-time winner of the 11. „Ferruccio Tagliavini“ International Voice Competition. 2003-2006 Engagement Theater Augsburg. 2006/07 member of Staatstheater Darmstadt. 2010-2013 Engagement Aalto Musiktheater Essen.
