Zagreb, CroatiaBorn in Genoa in 1984, the tenor Matteo Lippi began to study singing with the mezzo-soprano Laura Bulian and continued his training at the CUBEC-Accademia di Belcanto in Modena under the guidance of Mirella Freni who then followed him on his path. In 2013 he won the Toti dal Monte competition and debuted as Rodolfo in La bohème in the theaters of Treviso, Ferrara, Jesi and Fermo and in the following year, always with the same role he debuted in two important theatres that will later see him as a regular guest: La Fenice and the Bolshoi. He will do his debut as Alfredo in La traviata at La Fenice, a role that will bring him back in Venice for several seasons. He will continue his debut in Oslo and in Florence, first in the courtyard of Palazzo Pitti for the Summer Season and then at the new
