In addition, he continues to serve as General Music Director of Oper Frankfurt where he will lead new productions of Grand Macabre and Boris Godunov, in addition to revivals of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Siegfried and Eugen Onegin this season. Elsewhere during the 2020/21 season, he returns to the Vienna State Opera on Arabella, the Bavarian State Opera on Die Frau ohne Schatten, and to the Metropolitan Opera on Lulu. Alongside his concerts with the Frankfurt Museumsorchester, he will appear as a guest conductor with the Dresden Philharmonie this season.
