Myung-Whun Chung is back in Saint-Denis!
And it is with one of the emblematic works of the
Saint-Denis Festival that he returns, the second
Mahler's symphony, the most monumental,
conceived by the composer as a questioning of life and death ending with a
triumphant resurrection.
There is no doubt that Maestro Chung, that the Basilica
knows so well how to inspire, will be able to share with us
this metaphysical and overwhelming vision of
Mahler, of whom he is today one of the great
specialists.
