“The real surprise of the show is in the direction, curated on the theatrical side by Rosetta Cucchi and on the television by the tireless Arnalda Canali, committed to building a drama that hybrids with great stage syntaxes (movimen Actors' ti) and audiovisual syntax (camera movements and mounting pieces), doing Adriana a creature that, like Orlando of Virginia Woolf, goes through different eras and changes its skin with every act. In the first is the «tragedy» that really existed, that in the middle of 700 revolutionized acting seeking the most natural possible expressiveness, caught in a backstage while preparing to debut in Bajazet di Racine; in the second is a Roman actress mid-Eight-century tika similar to Sarah Bernhardt, who often cemented herself with Adriana's role in the tragedy of Legouvé and Scribe which is inspired by the opera booklet; in the third is a film actress from the early twentieth century similar to Yvonne Printemps, protagonist of one of the first silent films inspired by Lecouvreur.
In the fourth act the flogoration: in Paris of 1968 crossed by student protests and rivebers of the Nouvelle Vague aesthetics, Adriana, now resembles one of the many «intelligent» masks of Anna Karina or Jeanne Moreau, undresses stage stages as his story descends into one sort of intimate diary in which the actress confronts herself one last time pleasantly with her image (Michonnet la filma), concedes to occupy only the center of the scene (Maurizio reduced to pure voice like Alfredo in Traviata), dying as a don na adoring to live eternally as adored diva. "
