Aida is a psychological musical drama that tells about the great power of love, which even death cannot overcome.

The production of the Chelyabinsk theater uses a minimum of scenery and props, which in turn emphasizes the musical and vocal components. At the same time, a full-fledged performance is in front of the viewer. Moscow stage director Ekaterina Vasileva supplemented the performance of the artists with a video sequence referring to the era of ancient Egypt. The symphony orchestra on the stage and the choir moving on high platforms create the effect of a labyrinth inside the Egyptian pyramid.

Lyrical and at the same time tragic music, expressive images, a plot based on real historical events - all this is presented in one of the most beautiful and famous operas by Giuseppe Verdi.
