William Christie retrouve ses fidèles acolytes, chanteurs et musiciens, pour un nouvel opus consacré aux airs français des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles !

Cela fait maintenant près d’une décennie que William Christie, grand spécialiste de la musique française, a initié une série de concerts et d’enregistrements autour des airs sérieux et à boire écrits par des compositeurs tels que Lambert, Couperin ou Charpentier mais aussi Guédron, Moulinié, Lejeune…

Pour ce nouvel opus, il réunit à nouveau l’ensemble de chanteurs et d’instrumentistes qui l’ont accompagné depuis les débuts de cette traversée, afin d’explorer toujours plus ce répertoire haut en couleurs, plein de charme, de légèreté… et d’expressivité !

For almost a decade now, William Christie, a great specialist in French music, has initiated a series of concerts and recordings based on serious and drinking airs by composers such as Lambert, Couperin or Charpentier, but also Guédron, Moulinié, Lejeune...

For this new opus, he brings together once again the ensemble of singers and instrumentalists who have accompanied him since the beginning of this journey, in order to further explore this colorful repertoire, full of charm, lightness... and expressivity!
