Andreï Korobeinikov is a keyboard genius with no fewer than twenty competition wins to his credit and a bright young mind (he is a qualified lawyer and has authored several books). For this new recital he will move from the enlightened Romanticism of Schumann to his beloved Scriabine (of whom he is the leading performer today) before making a foray into the indefinable Messiaen and rounding off with Beethoven’s sumptuous opus 111. This is the musician’s last Sonata and its unusual two-movement structure blends grandeur with unprecedented visionary inspiration.

Andreï Korobeinikov est un surdoué du clavier (pas moins de vingt concours remportés à son palmarès) et un jeune esprit éclairé (il a son diplôme d’avocat et a publié plusieurs ouvrages). Pour ce nouveau récital, il naviguera du romantisme éclairé de Schumann vers son cher Scriabine (c’est l’un de ses interprètes les plus accomplis du moment) puis fera un détour chez l’inclassable Messiaen avant de conclure par le somptueux opus 111 de Beethoven. Ultime sonate du musicien, sa structure inhabituelle en deux mouvements allie grandeur et souffle visionnaire sans équivalent.
