Česká mše vánoční patří k tradicím vánočních svátků. Režisérka Dagmar Hlubková přišla s nápadem vytvořit inscenovanou verzi pro naše divadlo. Při psaní scénáře vycházela z Komedie o hvězdě, lidové hry o narození Ježíška ve zpracování teatrologa Jana Kopeckého. Kromě toho jsou v inscenaci ukázky dalších lidových her. Zpívané pasáže se prolínají s hranými scénami a na konci bude i oživlý betlém. Malí i velcí diváci se dočkají i čerta a dovádějících andílků.

The Czech Christmas Mass belongs to the traditions of the Christmas holidays. Director Dagmar Hlubková came up with the idea to create a staged version for our theater. When writing the script, she based it on the Comedy about a Star, a folk play about the birth of Jesus, adapted by theatrologist Jan Kopecky. In addition, there are examples of other folk plays in the production. Sung passages are interspersed with acted scenes, and at the end there will be an animated nativity scene. Young and old viewers will also see the devil and frolicking angels.
