L'orchestra è molto piccola; i corni e le trombe sono "naturali", quindi hanno suono morbido ma intonazione piuttosto incerta; il clavicembalo non solo accompagna i recitativi ma suona anche insieme all'orchestra, come faceva Mozart stesso. Enrique Mazzola ha infatti voluto preliminarmente dare un suono d'epoca alla sua orchestra, ma poi non si è fatto impastoiare dalle regole della prassi esecutiva "filologica" né dall'incipriato "stile mozartiano" e ha diretto "Così fan tutte" con grande libertà, in modo scatenato, con tempi velocissimi, ritmi scanditi, coloriti marcati. Insomma, senza lasciarsi sfuggire i momenti in cui Mozart apre squarci malinconici e prospettive più riflessive, ha visto "Così fan tutte" soprattutto come il punto d'arrivo dell'opera buffa settecentesca, a base di travestimenti, scambi di persona, equivoci, inganni e burle. Anche il terzetto femminile formato da Sandra Leupold (regia), Kathrin Hauer (scene e costumi) e Babette Hesse (drammaturgia, all'uso tedesco) ha punato sulla vivacità dell'azione, con una recitazione rapida, una comicità immediata e farsesca, continue entrate in scena di macchinisti per spostare qualche pezzo d'attezzeria. Ma hanno spinto lo sguardo anche dietro la patina comica: quando Don Alfonso vince la sua scommessa, in realtà è lui il perdente, perché si formano nuovamente due coppie d'innamorati, mentre lui resta solo nel gelo dei suoi sentimenti a stringersi infreddolito nel suo soprabito e a raccogliere i pezzi di tulle avanzati dalla cerimonia nuziale. La scenografia è la più semplice e la più affascinante che esista: le nude mura del palcoscenico d'un teatro d'epoca. I costumi sono moderni. ma l'epoca è indeterminata, forse più che il presente è il futuro, perché c'è un sospetto di Star Treck in quelle fogge strane e in quei tessuti grigio-argentei. Gli interpreti sono giovani o giovanissimi, com'è nello spirito del Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano. Giovane è Annarita Taliento, che affronta con sicurezza le impegnative arie di Fiordiligi. Giovanissimi sono tutti gli altri, alcuni praticamente al loro debutto in palcoscenico: non hanno voci straordinarie e commettono varie piccole imprecisioni, ma l'approccio è quello giusto, naturale e scorrevole, senza sottolineature e pose melodrammatiche. Si sono distinti particolarmente Teuta Koço, una Despina che ha nella voce la malizia e il sorriso della soubrette dell'opera comica, e soprattutto Gabriele Nani, un Don Alfonso giovanissimo ma dall'à plomb già perfetto. Insomma uno spettacolo giovane, semplice, divertente, che il pubblico ha mostrato di gradire senza riserve.

In short, without missing the moments in which Mozart opens up melancholic glimpses and more reflective perspectives, he saw "Così fan tutte" above all as the culmination of eighteenth-century opera buffa, based on disguises, mistaken identity, misunderstandings, deceptions and jokes. Even the female trio formed by Sandra Leupold (director), Kathrin Hauer (sets and costumes) and Babette Hesse (drama, in German usage) focused on the liveliness of the action, with rapid acting, immediate and farcical comedy, continue enter the scene of machinists to move some piece of equipment. But they also pushed their gaze behind the comic patina: when Don Alfonso wins his bet, in reality he is the loser, because two couples in love are once again formed, while he remains alone in the frost of his feelings hugging shivering in his overcoat and to collect the pieces of tulle left over from the wedding ceremony. The scenography is the simplest and most fascinating that exists: the bare stage walls of an ancient theatre. The costumes are modern. but the era is indeterminate, perhaps more than the present is the future, for there is a hint of Star Trek in those strange shapes and silver-gray fabrics. The performers are young or very young, as is the spirit of the Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano. Young is Annarita Taliento, who confidently faces the demanding arias of Fiordiligi. All the others are very young, some practically making their stage debut: they don't have extraordinary voices and commit various small inaccuracies, but the approach is the right one, natural and flowing, without underlining and melodramatic poses. Teuta Koço particularly stood out, a Despina who has in her voice the malice and smile of the starlet of the comic opera, and above all Gabriele Nani, a very young Don Alfonso but with an already perfect à plomb. In short, a young, simple, amusing show that the public has shown to appreciate without reservations.
