Trondheimskomponisten Ståle Kleibergs stort anlagte operaoratorium fra 2008 er framført i flere land. Historien om Kong David og Bathsheba er en fortelling om hvordan valgene vi tar gir konsekvenser. Det er en fortelling om lengsel og begjær, men også om svik, sorg og anger.

Innspillingen med TSO ble nominert til Grammy i klassen Best Opera Recording i 2013.

Nå blir operaen fremført som scenisk opera i Lademoen kirke, med unge solister fra Norge og Polen.

Trondheim composer Ståle Kleiberg's large-scale opera oratorio from 2008 has been performed in several countries. The story of King David and Bathsheba is a story about how the choices we make have consequences. It is a story about longing and desire, but also about betrayal, grief and regret.

The recording with the TSO was nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Opera Recording in 2013.

Now the opera is performed as a stage opera in Lademoen church, with young soloists from Norway and Poland.
