»VISION.BACH – Mit Bach das Leben begreifen« heißt das große Kantatenprojekt der Internationalen Bachakademie Stuttgart. Von 14. Mai 2023 bis 31. Mai 2024 wird die Gaechinger Cantorey unter Leitung von Hans-Christoph Rademann den ersten Leipziger Kantatenjahrgang Johann Sebastian Bachs vollständig aufführen, in der ursprünglichen Reihenfolge und genau 300 Jahre nach dessen Entstehung. In 23 Konzerten erklingen die sechzig Kantaten in Kirchen und Konzertsälen der Region Stuttgart sowie auf Alte-Musik-Festivals. Die Aufnahmen der Konzerte erscheinen zudem in einer Sammlung von 10 Doppel-CDs beim Label Hänssler Classic.

“VISION.BACH – Understanding life with Bach” is the name of the large cantata project of the International Bach Academy Stuttgart. From May 14, 2023 to May 31, 2024, the Gaechinger Cantorey under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann will perform the first Leipzig cantata year in full by Johann Sebastian Bach, in the original order and exactly 300 years after they were written. The sixty cantatas will be performed in 23 concerts in churches and concert halls in the Stuttgart region as well as at early music festivals. The recordings of the concerts are also released in a collection of 10 double CDs on the Hänssler Classic label.
