In Zeiten, in denen gesellige Feste und rauschende Bälle weder im wirklichen Leben noch auf der Bühne möglich sind, ist die Fantasie jedes Einzelnen gefragt....

In times when social celebrations and lavish balls are not possible either in real life or on stage, everyone's imagination is required.

Prison guard Frosch is lucky: his favorite operetta, Johann Strauss' Fledermaus , takes place at least in the third act in his very personal sphere of activity, the prison. And so the stage becomes a playground for the light muse, where jokes and jokes are combined with indulgent music. “Sounds of the homeland”, “I like to invite guests” and “My Lord Marquis” are among the most famous operetta hits and can be heard in this abridged and brand new version in an unfamiliar but familiar setting.

This production was created under the Corona conditions in autumn 2020 and is therefore limited to a playing time of just under an hour. The premiere had to be canceled because the house was closed again. Nevertheless, we do not want to withhold the piece that has developed under such special circumstances from you.
