It premiered in 1791. The role of Papageno is performed by the famous singer of the time - Szycander, and that of the Queen of the Night - by Josefa Hofer - a relative of Mozart. In November 1792, Szycander announced the 100th installation of the opera. Mozart himself did not attend this important event, since only 2 months died. after the premiere - on December 5, 1792. The most famous parts of the opera are the duet of Papageno and Papagena and the queen's aria of the night for a colorated soprano.

W. A. Mozart's latest opera, "The Magic Flute," is a masterpiece that doesn't come down from opera scenes. It was first presented in Vienna on September 30, 1791, under the conductor's conductorship and passed with great success. Goethe likes this opera very much, calling it "a utopian and strange tale in which human virtues are preached: love, hard work, moral perfection."

In sofia opera "The Magic Flute" has been placed many times, but especially for the new children's educational program, an adapted version for children has been created by the director Yulia Krasteva, the conductor Boris Spasov and the artist Chrystiana Mihaleva. The action is focused and dynamic, the plot is recreated with a lot of humor and mood, the main characters are presented with their most famous arias and ensembles.

The clash of good and evil forces, friendship and love are at the heart of the spectacle, from which streams a lot of joy, light and optimism.
