Mozart's masterpiece "Don Giovanni" is probably one of the richest works in operatic literature: comedy and tragedy, ballad and cloak-and-dagger piece, a portrait of manners from the time it was written and at the same time timeless world theater ... The theater magician Achim Freyer staged the work and the stage and designed costumes. He sees Don Giovanni as "the great driving force, strong, inevitable" that brings movement and light into our lives.
