Penny-pinching bachelor Don Pasquale wants his nephew to marry for money, but young Ernesto has other plans—he’s smitten with the lovely (but poor) Norina. When the lovers discover Don Pasquale’s plan to disinherit his rebellious nephew, they team up with the cunning Dr. Malatesta and hatch an outrageous plan to walk down the aisle and teach Pasquale a lesson.
