Michael Sanderling, son of the great maestro Kurt Sanderling, has followed faithfully in his father's footsteps and carved out a dazzling international career for himself. His visit to Athens is much anticipated. Bruckner's monumental Mass No. 3, the fruit of the composer's profound and heartfelt faith but also of an equally profound and emotionally-fraught musical sensibility, will surely imbue Holy Week with due solemnity this year.

Ο Μίχαελ Ζάντερλινγκ, γιος του μεγάλου μαέστρου Κουρτ Ζάντερλινγκ, ακολουθεί πιστά τα βήματα του πατέρα του διαγράφοντας και εκείνος μία λαμπρή διεθνή σταδιοδρομία, σταθμός της οποίας θα είναι η πολυαναμενόμενη εμφάνισή του στην Αθήνα. Η μνημειώδης Τρίτη Λειτουργία του Μπρούκνερ, καρπός μίας βαθιάς και ειλικρινούς πίστης του δημιουργού της αλλά και της εξίσου βαθιάς και συναισθηματικά φορτισμένης μουσικής του σκέψης, θα επενδύσει κατανυκτικά τη φετινή Μεγάλη Εβδομάδα.
