Einstein for aliens is een sci-fi musical-fantasy van en door zanger/componist David Moss. Hij wordt beschouwd als één van de meest vernieuwende zangers en percussionisten van de hedendaagse muziekscène.

Het jaar is 2099, een drukkend warme winternacht in een armzalig appartement in Bärschau (de naam van Groot-Berlijn/Warshau op dat moment). Een eenzame, cynische muzikant zit voor het enig overgebleven drumstel en vertelt het verhaal van hoe toen – honderd jaar geleden – buitenaardse wezens naar een kleine club op de Lower East Side van New York kwamen en hem op een rondreis door het heelal stuurden. 
Hij vertelt zoals een improviserende muzikant het zou doen: hij weeft zijn muzikaal verhaal uit een spectrum van fascinerende geluiden -alles van stukjes James Brown tot druppende kraantjes - m.b.v. het laatste overgebleven drumstel, zijn eigen stem die hij in elke mogelijke vorm aanwendt, en met heel wat andere klankvariaties en -verrassingen. Zijn vertelling neemt ons mee op een reis naar zeven totaal verschillende planeten, elk de thuishaven van een nieuw auditief en visueel landschap.

Einstein for Aliens  is a sci-fi musical fantasy by and by singer/composer David Moss. He is considered one of the most innovative singers and percussionists on the contemporary music scene.

The year is 2099, an oppressively warm winter night in a shabby apartment in Bärschau (the name of Greater Berlin/Warsaw at the time). A lonely, cynical musician sits in front of the only remaining drum kit and tells the story of how then – a hundred years ago – aliens came to a small club on New York's Lower East Side and sent him on a tour of the galaxy. 
He tells as an improvising musician would: he weaves his musical story from a spectrum of fascinating sounds - everything from bits of James Brown to dripping taps - using the last remaining drum set, his own voice that he uses in every possible form, and with many other sound variations and surprises. His narration takes us on a journey to seven completely different planets, each home to a new auditory and visual landscape.
