Director: Eduardo Muruamendiaraz - Arrigorri, "imaginary village of Vizcaya" where the script by Romero and Fernández Shaw places the action of El caserío de Guridi, happily has something of a dream village, an image frozen in time. Something also of an idyllic place, as seen through the eyes of a poet or a traveler, where we know that all problems, even those apparently more complex, will have a happy ending. Eustasia and Manu, the owners of the cider house, want to marry her naive daughter, Inosensia, to a husband who suits her; Txomin, the servant, has dreams of grandeur: Don Leoncio, the passionate priest of all sports, listens to everyone's problems and distributes good advice. Ana Mari secretly loves José Miguel, her cousin, a young and impulsive pelota player. And uncle Santi, father and mother at the same time, he sings of his love for Sasibil, his village, and wishes that his nephews, whose parents emigrated to America, value it and inherit it. Santi is, in addition to being an uncle, a mayor, and he expresses his domestic problems with a certain theatrical sense before a neighborhood that he observes and comments on each new plot twist in the pediment, a space that he often acts as an agora in towns. .
