Il y a cent ans, l’un des plus prodigieux compositeurs lyriques nous quittait  : Giacomo Puccini. De Manon Lescaut à Turandot en passant par La Bohème, Madama Butterfly ou encore Tosca, il ne nous a laissé que des chefsd’œuvre, tous désormais passés dans le répertoire au même titre que les plus belles pages de Mozart et de Verdi.

Comment imaginer plus bel hommage à l’œuvre de ce musicien de génie, qui sut comme nul autre exprimer les mille et une couleurs des émotions humaines, qu’avec Ermonela Jaho  ? La soprano albanaise s’est imposée dans le monde lyrique comme l’une des plus grandes interprètes de cette musique, qui requiert beauté du timbre, virtuosité et qualités expressives hors du commun…
