Un Instant d'Opéra - Hamlet et le romantisme à la française, morceaux choisis

In October 2020, Guillaume  Tourniaire  performed for the first time on our stage, directing  Hamlet  by Ambroise Thomas in Cyril Teste's spectacular staging. Unfortunately, the health crisis forced us to cancel this production just after the dress rehearsal... Nevertheless , our teams were able, during rehearsals, to fully appreciate its affinity with French opera.  

It is with a program articulated around Hamlet  that the Maestro returns to us for this concert: a great way to take advantage, through streaming, of part of the work done around this little jewel of French opera.  

 With the Belgian soloists Jodie Devos ,  Marc  Laho  and  Lionel Lhote , also  connoisseurs of  this repertoire, the Maestro will  also present a selection of arias and scenes from French romantic opera, through works by Bizet, Massenet and Adam .

En octobre 2020, Guillaume Tourniaire se produisait pour la première fois sur notre scène, dirigeant Hamlet d’Ambroise Thomas dans la spectaculaire mise en scène de Cyril Teste. Hélas, la crise sanitaire nous força à annuler cette production juste à l’issue de la générale… Néanmoins, nos équipes ont pu, durant les répétitions, apprécier à sa juste valeur son affinité avec l’opéra français.  

C’est avec un programme articulé autour d’Hamlet que le Maestro nous revient pour ce concert : une belle manière de profiter, par le biais de la retransmission en streaming, d’une partie du travail effectué autour de ce petit bijou d’opéra français.  

Avec les solistes belges Jodie Devos, Marc Laho et Lionel Lhote, eux aussi fins connaisseurs de ce répertoire, le Maestro présentera également une sélection d’airs et scènes de l’opéra romantique français, au travers d’œuvres de Bizet, Massenet et Adam.
