Last effect, we hope, of the health crisis, a new creation of the Hänsel and Gretel production is proposed to you. We invite you to discover the tale of the Brothers Grimm through the illustrations of the famous designer Lorenzo Mattotti. 

The health crisis not having allowed, this summer, the good progress of the rehearsals and the creation of the Hänsel et Gretel production initially planned, the Dijon Opera is pleased to offer a magnificent adaptation of the tale leaving the spotlight to imagination and visual arts thanks to the participation of the famous illustrator Lorenzo Mattotti, author of the animated film The Famous Invasion of the Bears in Sicily  unanimously acclaimed by the critics.

Present on stage alongside the actress and narrator Nadia Fabrizio and the two pianists Nour Ayadi and Pierre-Marie Gasnier who will perform 
extracts from Humperdinck's opera for four hands, Lorenzo Mattotti will present the drawings taken from his album dedicated to the tale. by Grimm as well as original drawings made live and projected on a giant screen.

An immersion in the heart of a dark forest, to meet a formidable witch. A fable whose morality celebrates the virtues of solidarity.
