In a disadvantaged neighborhood of Los Angeles, the lives of seven young people intertwine: a delinquent in full questioning about the validity of his choices, an undocumented South American mother, an idealistic lawyer, a journalist, a policeman doubting his sexual inclinations, a family planning worker, a Don Juan preacher.
