Die konzertanten Opernaufführungen gehören seit vielen Jahren zu den bejubelten Höhepunkt bei Klangvokal. Saverio Mercadantes 1837 in Mailand uraufgeführte Oper „Il giuramento“ vereint die Kantabilität im Stile von Gaetano Donizetti hinreißend mit der Dramatik des frühen Giuseppe Verdi. Legendäre Sänger*innen wie Agnes Baltsa oder José Carreras wurden einst bei der Wiederentdeckung in den 1970er Jahren an der Deutschen Oper Berlin und der Wiener Staatsoper bejubelt. In Dortmund werden die Hauptrollen dieser faszinierenden Opernrarität von jungen Gesangsstars wie Roberta Mantegna, Teresa Iervolino und Jean-François Borras unter der Leitung des international gefeierten italienischen Maestros Paolo Carignani gestaltet.

The concertante opera performances have been one of the acclaimed highlights at Klangvokal for many years. Saverio Mercadante's opera "Il giuramento", which premiered in Milan in 1837, wonderfully combines the cantabileity in the style of Gaetano Donizetti with the drama of the early Giuseppe Verdi. Legendary singers such as Agnes Baltsa or José Carreras were once celebrated when they were rediscovered in the 1970s at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Vienna State Opera. In Dortmund, the leading roles in this fascinating opera rarity will be performed by young singing stars such as Roberta Mantegna, Teresa Iervolino and Jean-François Borras under the direction of the internationally acclaimed Italian maestro Paolo Carignani.
