In «Il Trionfo» führt das Ensemble Les Passions de l'Ame das frühe Oratorium «La Bellezza ravveduta nel trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno» HWV 46a von Georg Friedrich Händel auf. Das Werk von 1707 wird von vier Gesangssolisten und dem Live- Zeichner Vincent Flückiger in der Rolle des zeichnenden Chronisten, Berichterstatters, Kommentators, Übersetzers, Vermittlers, Hinterfragers und Mediators in Szene gesetzt. Im Oratorium debattieren verschiedene allegorische Personen über die Frage, ob man den Triumph der Zeit unter irdischen Bedingungen verhindern kann. Die arkadische Poesie des Librettisten und Kardinals Benedetto Pamphilii beschreibt das Tun und Treiben, die Charaktere, Eigenarten und Überzeugungen d er vier Interlocutori: Bellezza, Piacere, Tempo und Disinganno. Der 22-jährige Händel vertonte diesen unterhaltsamen rhetorischen Diskurs zu einem ungeheuer virtuosen, musikalisch farbenprächtigen Oratorium.
 

Seit 2008 sorgt LES PASSIONS DE L’AME, Berns Orchester für Alte Musik, unter der künstlerischen Leitung der Geigerin Meret Lüthi für frisches Hinhören. Lebendige Interpretationen auf historischem Instrumentarium sind das Markenzeichen des internationalen Orchesters, das mit seinen Auftritten in ganz Europa für Furore sorgt und 2020 mit dem OPUS KLASSIK ausgezeichnet wurde. Zuletzt war das Ensemble 2018 im Rahmen des Internationalen Bachfests in Schaffhausen zu Gast.

In "Il Trionfo" the ensemble Les Passions de l'Ame performs the early oratorio "La Bellezza ravveduta nel trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno" HWV 46a by George Frideric Handel. The work from 1707 is staged by four vocal soloists and the live illustrator Vincent Flückiger in the role of drawing chronicler, reporter, commentator, translator, mediator, questioner and mediator. In the oratorio, various allegorical characters debate the question of whether the triumph of time can be prevented under earthly conditions. The Arcadian poetry of the librettist and cardinal Benedetto Pamphilii describes the actions and goings on, the characters, peculiarities and beliefs of the four interlocutori: Bellezza, Piacere, Tempo and Disinganno. The 22-year-old Handel set this entertaining rhetorical discourse to music into an incredibly virtuoso, musically colorful oratorio.
 

Since 2008, LES PASSIONS DE L'AME , Bern's early music orchestra, has been providing fresh listening under the artistic direction of violinist Meret Lüthi. Lively interpretations on historical instruments are the trademark of the international orchestra, which is causing a sensation with its performances throughout Europe and was awarded the OPUS KLASSIK in 2020. The ensemble was most recently a guest at the International Bach Festival in Schaffhausen in 2018.
