The struggle between good and evil is as old as mankind. It becomes all the more dramatic when a man is at the mercy of both powers fighting for supremacy. Aspiring physician Henry Jekyll has made it his life's work to explore the separation of these opposing traits. With his scientific experiments, however, he is walking on extremely thin ice, because he is forbidden to test them on patients. So will Dr. Jekyll to his own guinea pig. As his research progresses, he loses control of himself and his evil alter ego, Edward Hyde, gains the upper hand. His fiancee Lisa supports him to the best of her conscience, but even she cannot stop the devastating transformation. Edward Hyde is now up to mischief in the seedy London underground and soon numerous corpses adorn the path of the cruel sadist. While Jekyll realizes what a monster he's become and tries to fight it, Hyde always comes out on top. When he finally threatens to kill his beloved Lisa at his own wedding, the helpless researcher finds only his own death as the last resort.
