Ever since the start in 1991, the Norrland Opera Symphony Orchestra has played Christmas concerts in Umeå at Christmas time and since 2002, Christmas concerts have been performed every year at the Norrland Opera. So also this year when Norrlandsoperan's symphony orchestra offers a Christmas concert for the whole family together with vocal soloists and Norrlandsoperan's children's choir, all under the direction of conductor Cecilia Rydinger.
When it is at its darkest and coldest, not least here in our area and perhaps especially this year with many months of pandemics and shutdowns behind us, we are extra happy to be able to offer a really atmospheric Christmas concert with a hope for a better future for U.S. all.
