Night on Karlštejn, a famous Czech film musical, was filmed by director Zdeněk Podskalský in 1973 based on the play of the same name by Jaroslav Vrchlický. Some very well-known songs by composer Karel Svoboda and lyricist Jiří Štaidl performed by Waldemar Matuška and Helena Vondráčková come from the film. The opera and operetta ensemble of the Moravian Theater Olomouc staged a theatrical version of this jewel of Czech cinematography directed by Dagmar Hlubková, who has already directed the very successful musical Sugar or the operetta Dance in the Opera.


Together with the orchestra, choir and ballet of the Moravian Theater in Olomouc, the swordsmen of the Olomouc group ADOREA perform under the direction of Martin Tureček.

Noc na Karlštejně, slavný český filmový muzikál, natočil režisér Zdeněk Podskalský v roce 1973 na námět stejnojmenné divadelní hry Jaroslava Vrchlického. Z filmu pocházejí některé velmi známé písně skladatele Karla Svobody a textaře Jiřího Štaidla v podání Waldemara Matušky a Heleny Vondráčkové. Soubor opery a operety Moravského divadla Olomouc nastudoval divadelní verzi tohoto klenotu české kinematografie v režii Dagmar Hlubkové, která již u nás režírovala velice úspěšný muzikál Sugar nebo operetu Ples v opeře.


Spolu s orchestrem, sborem a baletem Moravského divadla Olomouc účinkují šermíři olomoucké skupiny ADOREA pod vedením Martina Turečka.
