"Kashchei the Immortal" is the composer's twelfth opera, which was written at the beginning of the Silver Age, and Rimsky-Korsakov is one of those few composers for whom the theme of Beauty, the theme of the Beautiful and the Unattainable, becomes the main thing in his work. Rimsky-Korsakov in his work creates not only a whole gallery of images that embody the ideal of Beauty, but also gives us the opportunity to look into this unattainable world.
