Who is the most beautiful woman in the world? Hélène's beauty has certainly turned heads and sparked passions!
This parody of Homer's epic poem offers numerous nods to the habits and customs of Napoleon III and his court, and brings together a gallery of caricatures from Antiquity and yet of a disturbing modernity.
This opera-bouffe is above all a score of great richness, with spiritual madness, with sparkling, sensual and irresistible melodies.
So, what if this story, which begins as a tragedy, turns into the most unbridled burlesque and if this family of the Atrides had only one desire: to save their heads so that they will be talked about "still in four thousand years" ...?

Qui est la plus belle femme du monde ? La beauté d’Hélène a certainement fait tourner les têtes et engendré des passions !
Cette parodie du poème épique d'Homère lance de nombreux clins d’œil aux us et coutumes de Napoléon III et de sa cour, et regroupe une galerie de caricatures venues de l’Antiquité et cependant d'une modernité́ troublante.
Cet opéra-bouffe est avant tout une partition d’une grande richesse, à la folie spirituelle, aux mélodies pétillantes, sensuelles et irrésistibles.
Alors, et si cette histoire qui débute comme une tragédie tournait au burlesque le plus débridé et si cette famille des Atrides n'avait qu'un seul désir : sauver leurs têtes pour qu'on parle d'eux « encore dans quatre mille ans »... ?
