The enthusiasms, desires, loves and disappointments of the most famous group of young people in the world of opera. And in the end it is the nostalgia of youth that has always moved everyone who comes into contact with this wonderful opera, which premiered in 1896 at the Teatro Regio.
On February 1, 1886, Giacomo Puccini's "La Bohème" premiered at the Teatro Regio in Turin, conducted by Arturo Toscanini. For the 125th anniversary, a new production from the Teatro Regio was presented, which is dedicated to the world premiere.
The staging, the stage design and the costumes are based on the famous original sketches that the stage and costume designer Adolf Hohenstein made for the premiere in 1886. Maestro Daniel Oren takes over the musical direction, Maria Teresa Leva and Iván Ayón Rivas sing the roles of Mimì and Rodolfo.
