The opera "La Bohème" by Giacomo Puccini is one of the most beloved and representative works of the lyrical repertoire. It was premiered in 1896 at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Italy. The story of "La Bohème" revolves around a group of young bohemians in Paris, who struggle to find their place in the world while dealing with love, loss and friendship. The main character, Rodolfo, a bohemian poet, falls in love with Mimi, a sick seamstress. As her love deepens, Mimi's health worsens, and he is forced to choose between her love for her and her desire to continue writing.
