That really did happen: The premiere of the short opera La leçon de chant électromagnétique – the “electromagnetic singing lesson” at a soirée in the Rossini house in 1863. We turn it into an enjoyable evening, with Emmanuel Franco, our arch comedian, a lot of music by Rossini, yes, and also with the Maestro himself.
