Mozart's Figaro's wedding is considered a masterpiece of opera literature. One of the really great classics that the audience never gets tired of. A clumsy bedroom farce but also a well-aimed kick against the authorities.

Figaro's wedding is a relationship drama with elements of both the bedside father's and psychological comedy. With Mozart's wonderful music and its mix of high and low, bullshit and seriousness, it is constantly on the opera repertoire's top ten list.

The plot is a sequel to The Barber in Seville by Rossini that we are playing this season. There it is the fixer Figaro and the young Count Almaviva who try to save Rosina from the claws of her old guardian. In Figaro's wedding, a few years have passed and Almaviva is married to Rosina. Now he is tired of his wife and has started looking at another lady, more specifically Figaro's fiancée Susanna…
