When a flighty count wants to exercise his droit de seigneur under the eyes of his flouted wife, can their servants celebrate their marriage in joy? Under the pen of Mozart and Da Ponte, class conflicts, travesties and  misunderstandings  will make the crazy day of Beaumarchais the moment of truth of love and forgiveness. In the production by the great Swiss director Marco Arturo Marelli, Karine Deshayes plays her first countess and Hervé Niquet, an eminent specialist in 18th century music, conducts the Orchester national du Capitole for the first time.
