Здесь Моцарт полностью раскрылся как гениальный драматург и мелодист. В «Свадьбе Фигаро» ему первому в истории оперного театра удалось раскрыть характеры героев, их отношения и переживания, а также представить комедию положений и все перипетии «безумного дня»   музыкальными средствами.

После триумфального исполнения оперы в Праге, Моцарт писал своему другу: «Здесь ни о чем другом не говорят, кроме как о „Фигаро“, ничего не играют, не хвалят, не насвистывают и не напевают, кроме как „Фигаро“, никаких других опер не слушают — только „Фигаро“».  И вот уже более двухсот лет эту оперу стремятся ставить, петь, слушать.

Here Mozart fully revealed himself as a brilliant playwright and melodist. In “The Marriage of Figaro,” he was the first in the history of the opera house to reveal the characters’ characters, their relationships and experiences, as well as to present a sitcom and all the vicissitudes of a “crazy day” through musical means.

After the triumphant performance of the opera in Prague, Mozart wrote to his friend: “Here they talk about nothing else except Figaro, nothing is played, they do not praise, they do not whistle or sing except Figaro, no other operas.” They don’t listen—only Figaro.” And for more than  two hundred years people have been trying to stage, sing, and listen to this opera.
