L'elisir d'amore is one of the most brilliant comic operas, filled with the most beautiful melodies and possessing an unusual and interesting plot. This is a performance that literally from the very beginning captures the attention of every viewer with the rapid development of the action.

This is a story about a timid young man Nemorino. He unrequitedly falls in love with the beautiful Adina, who is not at all interested in true and constant love. Dreaming of reciprocity, Nemorino is looking for a love potion. He finds it with the wandering charlatan Dulcamara. After drinking the elixir, Nemorino begins to behave boldly and confidently. Now Adina is trying to arouse jealousy and attract the attention of Nemorino. Immediately she is going to marry another - officer Belcore.

In an attempt to get money for a couple more bottles of love potion, the desperate Nemorino agrees to become a soldier and returns to Dulcamara for a new portion of the magic elixir. At the same moment, rumors spread about Nemorino's unexpected large inheritance. Girls really begin to pay attention to the young man, which he takes for the effect of a love drink.

Along with jealousy in Adina, true love for Nemorino awakens, and they announce their wedding. Dulcamara, meanwhile, is encouraged by the success of his healing drink.

The entertaining and witty plot of "The Love Potion", melodic, light and elegant music are the main components, thanks to which to this day it is one of the most sought-after Italian operas of the 19th century.

Since the premiere, "Love Potion" has been constantly traveling on the opera stages of different countries and cities. And today, the lightness of the plot, the comical nature of the characters and the beautiful music make it one of the most popular operas.

«Любовный напиток» – одна из самых блистательных комических опер, насыщенная прекраснейшими мелодиями и обладающая необычным и интересным сюжетом. Это спектакль, который буквально с самого начала захватывает внимание каждого зрителя стремительным развитием действия.

Это история про робкого юношу Неморино. Он безответно влюбляется в прекрасную Адину, которую совершенно не интересует верная и постоянная любовь. Мечтая о взаимности, Неморино ищет любовный напиток. Находит он его у странствующего шарлатана Дулькамара. Выпив эликсир, Неморино начинает вести себя дерзко и уверенно. Теперь уже Адина пытается вызвать ревность и привлечь внимание Неморино. Тут же она собирается замуж за другого – офицера Белькоре.

В попытке раздобыть деньги еще на пару бутыльков любовного напитка отчаявшийся Неморино соглашается стать солдатом и возвращается к Дулькамара за новой порцией волшебного эликсира. В тот же момент разносятся слухи о неожиданном большом наследстве Неморино. Девушки и впрямь начинают обращать на юношу внимание, которое он принимает за действие любовного напитка.

Вместе с ревностью в Адине просыпается настоящая любовь к Неморино, и они объявляют о свадьбе. Дулькамара тем временем воодушевлён успехом своего целебного напитка.

Занимательный и остроумный сюжет «Любовного напитка», мелодичная, легкая и изящная музыка – основные составляющие, благодаря которым и по сей день это – одна из наиболее востребованных итальянских опер XIX столетия.

С момента премьеры «Любовный напиток» постоянно путешествует по оперным подмосткам разных стран и городов. И сегодня легкость сюжета, комичность персонажей и прекрасная музыка делают ее одной из самых популярных опер.
